SOUTHBORO, MASS. (WPRI) - A National Grid supervisor, accused in a deadly crash, has been ordered not to drive in Massachusetts.
On Monday, a judge suspended the license of 50-year-old Jeffrey Fisher, during his arraignment in Westboro District Court.
The Coventry man was road testing a truck and trailer carrying a backhoe on Interstate 495 in Southboro in August 2011 when the backhoe toppled onto a minivan, killing a 72-year-old woman inside.
Fisher has pleaded not guilty to motor vehicle homicide.
The victim's family has filed a lawsuit against National Grid.
