Police seek to ID bank robbery suspect

DAYVILLE, C.T, (WPRI) – State Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Jewett City Savings Bank in Dayville, Connecticut.

Police report that the male suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note without saying anything. The note said, “Robbery, no dye pack, no alarm, no GPS. No marked bills. ” The teller then handed him an undetermined amount of cash that he put into a plastic bag he carried in with him.

He fled in a silver or gold sedan with registration ECA037 from an unknown state.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-thirties, between five feet and five feet six inches tall, stocky build, with brown facial hair. He was wearing a dark knit cap with a white logo, dark sunglasses, white shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and white gloves.
