BANGOR, Maine (AP) -- Police are seeking a 31-year-old man in the deaths of three people whose bodies were found in a burning car in Bangor, Maine.

The Bangor Daily News ( http://bit.ly/QB6mly ) says Nicholas J. Sexton is wanted on a fugitive-from-justice warrant for the triple homicide. Police in Brockton, Mass., were looking for him this week and confirmed the warrant. Sexton's address isn't known.

A spokeswoman for the Maine attorney general's office declined comment Saturday.

The burning car, which had Rhode Island license plates, was discovered early on Aug. 13 in a Bangor parking lot.

Authorities identified the victims as 26-year-old Daniel Thomas Borders of Hermon; 24-year-old Nicolle Ashley Lugdon of Eddington and 28-year-old Lucas Alan Tuscano of Bradford. The medical examiner ruled the deaths homicides but withheld the cause of death.
