EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Eyewitness News Analyst Lt. General Reginald Centracchio sits down with Mike Montecalvo for a one-on-one interview.

This week, the general focused on Bin Laden's tape on global warming. He said he’s trying to break the American economy, but it won’t happen. Centracchio said Bin Laden is also trying to use this topic to get countries angry at the United States to come over to his side.

The general also said he was disappointed that the President during the State of the Union speech waited until the end to talk about the war and world safety.

He endorses a plan to merge counties in RI. The general says by putting a figure next to the savings will help in getting it approved.

Lastly, Centracchio talked about the RI National Guard is ending its mission in Haiti next week.
