EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - In this week's web exclusive, Eyewitness News analyst Lt. Gen. Reginald Centracchio sat down with Mike Montecalvo to talk about the Pirate attack.
Centracchio talked about how the merchant ships are protecting themselves and putting armed personal on those ships started with the Providence Marine Corp Artillery in 1801.
He also said every country should follow the United States policy of no concessions. The general believes the pirates didn’t realize they attacked the ship for the second time in seven months.
The discussion also focused on why Army suicides are up, and how the strategy in Afghanistan will have to change if the field generals do no get the 40,000 troops.
Other topics included the H1N1 vaccine lagging behind and finally he talks about Sarah Palin. He doesn’t believe the most recent publicity will help her in a run for the White House.
