EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Mike Montecalvo sits down with military analyst Lt. General Reginald Centracchio for a one-on-one interview.

The General says just under 300 National Guard troops are still helping with traffic details and helping remove trees in the road. They’re also helping to distribute water to area residents.

He says the coordination was very good with local, state and federal agencies concerning the planning and clean up for the storm.

He’s now concerned about possible other storms brewing in the Gulf that could cause severe flooding if they hit our area.
