(WPRI) - Mike Montecalvo sits down with military analyst Lt. General Reginald Centracchio for a one-on-one interview.

The general spent most of the time focusing on the life of Joe Garrahy.

The general was a close friend and worked with him as a member of the Guard. Centracchio says Garrahy was a decent man, who cared about helping people.

He showed great leadership qualities in trying times, including getting the state through the Blizzard of 78.

Centracchio also said the late governor always gave his staff and others credit for helping him achieve all of his accomplishments.
