(WPRI) - Mike Montecalvo sits down with military analyst Lt. General Reginald Centracchio for a one-on-one interview.
This week the general focused on the impending military cuts.
He says the $500 billion in cuts over the next ten years could cause a reduction in the RI National Guard. It would also cut into nuclear weapons, warships and salaries.
He also said the drop in death in Afghanistan last year can be attributed to the surge in soldiers.
He also commented on the Taliban moving it’s headquarters to the Persian Gulf—is it a move towards peace?
