EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - In this week's web exclusive, Eyewitness News Analyst Lt. Gen. Reginald Centracchio sits down with Mike Montecalvo to talk about the meaning of Veterans Day, and how more people need to remember the contribution of veterans.

He also went into detail on the care of veterans. He also talked about President Obama's meeting with the National Security Team about Afghanistan. The General talked about his four options, including adding 40 thousand more troops.

Centracchio went into detail about the shooting at Fort Hood. He believes U.S. officials should have picked up on the warning signs of Hasan. He believes it could be a terrorist attack because he was in communication with a radical Muslim who supports killing U.S. troops.

The general also talked about what it’s like talking to families who lost loved ones in friendly fire and combat.

He also touched upon Rhode Island's $200 million dollar budget deficit. He said he would be in favor of wiping out the Lt. Governors office if both can’t run on same ticket.

He also believes the General Assembly will override the Governors veto of the bill preventing him for naming a replacement of a senator resigns or dies.
