EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - In this week's web exclusive, Eyewitness News Analyst Reginald Centracchio went into great detail about the 8th anniversary of the invasion in Afghanistan.

Eight years later, 80-percent of the country is still controlled by the Taliban. The General talks about the changes in strategy that has led to this problem. He also says we need to add another 40,000 troops and thinks the president will do that. He also hopes other countries participate in sending troops to Afghanistan.

Centracchio also talked about the FAA releasing a report on air traffic at T.F. Green Airport, and he went into great detail about the agreement with Council 94.

He says if cities and towns want to save money, they need to consolidate, especially with police and fire. He doesn’t see that happening anytime soon.
