BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) - This year's freshman class at Roger Williams University rolled up its sleeves and got into cake in a big way.
It was the first annual "cake-off."
About 200 people competed on Saturday with sheet cake, frosting and decorations as their tools.
All proceeds will go to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
School officials estimate the contest raised about two thousand dollars.
