PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - It appears
Amy Fisher, a.k.a. the "Long Island Lolita,"
has a new profession these days. She will be making an appearance
at a Providence strip club this weekend.
Fisher gained notoriety as a high school student in 1992 after
shooting in the head the wife of her much-older lover, Joey
Buttafuoco. Mary Jo Buttafuoco survived the shooting and Fisher
served seven years in a New York prison for the crime.
Now in her mid-30s, Fisher, who also starred in an adult film in
2007, is an exotic dancer who is touring the country. Her latest
stop will be at the Cadillac Lounge in Providence this Friday and
Saturday.
"I love to dance and I'm an exhibitionist," Fisher told AVN.com,
an adult website. "So I have a good time with the crowd. I already
am very physically fit."
