Law aimed to keep kids safe from lead

WPRI.com - A new federal law designed to make toys safer could be overkill.

In response to lead contamination toys made in China and the massive toy recall in the summer of 2007 lawmakers in Washington required toymakers to prove their toys contain no lead.
