PROVIDENCE, .RI. (WPRI) - Looking for a cool new gadget for your home? Or are you looking to update your kitchen without breaking the bank? You may find what you're looking for at the Home Show that's happening this weekend at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
Walk up and down the aisles, and its like one big candy store for the homeowner who wants everything!
One cool thing we found: A Two person air-bath and when you open up the doors there's even a TV inside. Talk about luxury!
And if you are tired of your old rusty bulk head, you will be after you see the one on display at the convention center. It's called a clam door. Its a fiberglass bulkhead that's maintenance free, weather tight, and won't leak.
New at the home show this year is The Fine Arts Showcase featuring over 80 local artists, sculptors, painters, potters and glass artists.
And, if the kitchen is your favorite room, there are all kinds of things there for you to check out!
"Right now, they're going with these outdoor kitchens with these built in grills, and built in pizza ovens." said Elvio Vieira, the owner of Elvio and Son's Construction.
Want to be the talk of the neighborhood with glass counter tops? You will be..especially if it's from recycled glass! There are even floors made of glass.
Compared to last year, this home show is bigger..sign of times for construction industry. The Home Show is underway at the Convention Center until 6:00pm on Sunday.
