PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Various companies are recalling products such as bicycle child carriers, dishwashers, and office chairs for the various threats they pose to consumers.

Todson, a North Attleboro company, is voluntarily recalling more than 40,000 baby seats due to a potential defect. There have been two reports involving children with near finger amputations from this product.

Viking is recalling 2,000 of their dishwashers, specifically the Viking 24 inch Professional, Designer, and Customer Panel dishwashers that were manufactured between May and September 2010.

There is an electrical component in the dishwasher that can overheat and poses a fire hazard.

Twenty-one reports of incidents involving these appliances have already been filed, including five reports of property damage from fires.

Office Depot is recalling more than 307,000 brand chairs after 11 reports of break chairs, causing people to fall and sustain minor injuries.

The Office Depot Brand Biella Leather Desk Chairs have a weld connecting the seat plate to the gas lift that may fail, causing the chair to separate from the base.
