WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- CBS is number one in the country and now the network is sending the CBS Buzz tour our way to thank the viewers of Southern New England.

The 2012 CBS Buzz Tour will make a stop in Rhode Island before officially kicking off its nationwide tour in Boston on July 4.

The tour, which is headlined by CBS reality stars Alex Boylan of The Amazing Race and Burton Roberts of Survivor, will be at the Cardi's Superstore on Rt. 2 in Warwick, Monday July 2 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

“It is extremely exciting to be part of this ultimate road trip,” said Burton Roberts.

The Rhode Show's Michaela Johnson and Will Gilbert will also be on-hand at the event along with local Amazing Race contestants Michael Naylor and Louie Stravato.

The CBS Buzz Tour will be bringing activities and giveaways to loyal fans across the country covering 15,000 miles and 60 markets in 60 days.

“Not only will we be delivering content from the road – using all aspects of technology and social media – but we will also be face-to-face with countless CBS fans across the country.” “It will be awesome to be on the front lines getting to interact with and say thanks to Americans all across this great country,” said Alex Boylan.

The tour comes to an end on August 31.
