Seekonk's New Eleven Forty Nine East!

FOX Providence - Following the tradition of the first Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant (also referred to as “1149”) which opened in Warwick in 2007, the newly renovated, western-inspired metropolitan-style 1149 East will open on July 7.

The location on Fall River Avenue, near the East Providence, RI and Seekonk, MA line, at the crossroads of Interstate 195, Route 114A and nearby Route 6, is one that Wright and Picerne are excited about.

“We see the opening of Eleven Forty Nine East as a strategic business decision on many levels. We wanted to expand the 1149 platform and the opportunity to capitalize on this highly visible and accessible East Bay location exceeds our expectations,” said Picerne.

Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant was named Best New Restaurant by Rhode Island Magazine in 2008.

“We are proud of the success of our Warwick location and look forward to continuing the Eleven Forty Nine tradition in the Easy Bay,” said Wright. “Eleven Forty Nine and Eleven Forty Nine East represent the first of many businesses that will flourish under the Eleven Forty Nine brand,” Wright said.
