Finalist Stephen Schuler

Stephen Schuler is originally from Nashua, NH. He spent the past two years working on a busy assignment desk in the Boston TV market. As an assignment editor, Stephen managed coverage during severe weather, hostage situations and New Hampshire’s “First in the Nation” primary.

Prior to making his return to New England, Stephen spent four years in Chicago where he attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. During that time, he spent a semester working as a general assignment reporter for a station in Sioux Falls, SD.

Stephen also played water polo, reported for the campus TV station, joined a fraternity, lifeguarded, and spent a summer in Croatia during college. He enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, swimming and watching way too much TV!
