1. A nice suit, because looking your best shows respect for yourself and others.

2. Good friends, because how can one measure one’s own decisions without honest counsel, or  stay sharp without good conversation.

3. My cat, because she’s small, fuzzy, and a good listener.

Who is your role model?  My mother. She has the best sense of humor and loyalty I have ever known.

What is your favorite place in Rhode Island or Southeastern Massachusetts? Providence, all of it. The architecture, the people, the food, the history. I’m looking forward to getting to know it better.

As a child, what was your nickname?  Danny... for obvious reasons. My mother had a nickname for me, but I don’t think I can write it here.

What is your favorite food? Tortilla Chips. All day. Every day. It’s kind of a problem.
