Rescue a Pet 10/19: Coco

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Coco the dog has a sad story that needs a happy ending.

His elderly owner recently passed away, now this 10-year-old poodle needs a new loving family.

Staff at the Providence Animals Rescue League say Coco is sad while in his kennel, but perks up once he's around people.

A couple or single person who has the time to make Coco the center of attention would make the perfect home for this pooch, who still has a lot of energy but also likes to cuddle on the couch.

Anyone interested in Coco or any of the other animals available for adoption at the Providence Animal Rescue League should call 401-421-1399.
