Actor Matthew Fox talks new movie

Matthew Fox is not "Lost" anymore in his new role as a crazed killer in "Alex Cross."

The actor who is starring in the new movie, “Alex Cross,”  joined The Rhode Show to talk more about it.

The movie based on the best selling book by James Patterson is brought to the big screen in the action packed thriller.  Matthew plays Michael “The Butcher” Sullivan. 

The character is not what fans of Fox are use to see him play.

“That was the main reason I wanted to take on this character. ” 

He also loved working with Tyler Perry who plays the main character “Alex Cross.”

Matthew who is known for his character Charlie Salinger on “Party of Five”, and of course Jack Shepherd on the huge ABC hit show “Lost.”

Fox enjoyed stepping away for those characters and getting into this roll. A roll that has put him in the best shape he has ever been. 

“Alex Cross" is in theaters now.
