BOSTON, MASS. (WPRI)- Final preparations are underway in Boston today as the convention center readies itself for Mitt Romney's last campaign event.
In the final hours before Election Day, both President Obama and Mitt Romney campaigned hard in key battle ground states.
The President's last official stop was in Des Moines, Iowa Monday night.
Romney's campaign tells Eyewitness News the Republican Presidential candidate was in New Hampshire Monday and will head to Massachusetts Tuesday after stops in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
As former governor and Massachusetts resident, campaign staff say its fitting that Romney watch results in Boston.
"Boston is a very historic city and we're going to add a page to history Tuesday", said spokesperson Kyle Downey.
President Obama is scheduled to hold his gathering at Chicago's McCormick Center.
