Rescue a Pet 7/10: Ringo

Ringo is a 2 1/2 year old Terrier Mix who was transferred to us from Providence Animal Control.

According to the staff at Providence Animal Rescue League :

He is a friendly boy who loves to be the center of attention! He enjoys going for walks and laying down in the sun!

He knows come commands and is eager to learn more! He does have a minor guarding issue with rawhides and food, but he will listen very well when you correct him. Terriers can be tenacious little guys by nature so his particular personality would do best in an adults only experienced small dog home.

His guarding issues will need to be addressed and we’ll have plenty of resources to get you on your way. Ringo is good with other dogs and cats. He will need a little work on housetraining, but with a consistent schedule, he should do just fine.
