(WPRI) - Scouting for Food, an effort that has long become a tradition
for Scouts of all ages and a critical food drive for the
Rhode Isand Community Food Bank, will get
started on Saturday, October 31st.
Thousands of Boy Scouts will canvass Rhode Island, delivering
collection bags to homes across the state. Since the drive's
inception, more than 6.5 million pounds of food has been collected
by local Scouts.
