POSITION: EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTIONS: Must have a proven track record of producing compelling newscasts with high production standards. Will be responsible for crafting creative newscasts that are clear, concise and memorable. Great producing skills needed with an emphasis on showcasing and elementing. Must have editorial and production skills to own big story/breaking news coverage by utilizing all resources including satellite trucks, live trucks, and a downtown bureau. Must be able to lead, coach, train and develop producers. Administrative duties include scheduling, recruiting, and hiring. The Executive Producer will work nightside and oversee the production, execution, and overall presentation of its 5-6:30pm and 10 and 11pm newscasts. The E.P. directly oversees all producers and associate producers and works closely with Assistant News Director and Assignment Editors. E.P. must be able to produce newscasts that reinforce our position as Eyewitness News.
